Terms of Service

The short version: Use Duovity honestly, don't misuse it to harm others, and understand that it's a tracking tool — not a safety guarantee. By using Duovity you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, completing identity verification, or using any feature of Duovity, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Duovity.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Duovity. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and completing identity verification. You are responsible for:

Identity verification is performed by Persona, a certified third-party provider. You authorize Duovity to share your information with Persona solely for the purpose of identity verification. You agree to Persona's terms and privacy policy in addition to ours.

Providing false identification or impersonating another person is a violation of these terms and may be illegal. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that provide false information.

When using Trust Scan to verify another person's identity, you agree to:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Duovity and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting privacy@duovity.com.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Interaction records may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Duovity shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Charleston, South Carolina, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Duovity.
